Contract information:
You must complete and submit an order form via the website to the supplier;
Sheffield Licensing will send an acknowledgment of receipt of the potential licensee’s order form;
Sheffield Licensing will then send the authorised signatory of the potential licensee details of the terms on which University of Sheffield is willing to supply the requested samples;
The authorised signatory will confirm that these terms are acceptable to the requesting organisation;
Sheffield Licensing will then despatch confirmation that the terms are agreed.
Confirmation by the authorised signatory that the terms are acceptable to your employer will constitute a formal offer to contract on those terms. The contract will be formed at University of Sheffield’s place of business when University of Sheffield confirms in accordance with step 5 that the terms are agreed, which will constitute acceptance of your offer. The communications referred to at steps 1 to 3 and any other negotiations or communications between the parties will not be legally binding.
