Sarcoma cell lines
Range of cell lines derived from Sarcomas
The following cell lines are available:
1. Sheffield Myxofibrosarcoma Cell Line 01 (w1 variant) (Shef-MFS 01 (w1 variant))
One of two morphologically distinct variant cell lines derived from a primary Myxofibrosarcoma resected in 2011.
2. Sheffield Myxofibrosarcoma Cell Line 01 (w2 variant) (Shef-MFS 01 (w2 variant))
One of two morphologically distinct variant cell lines derived from a primary Myxofibrosarcoma resected in 2011.
3. Sheffield Leiomyosarcoma Cell Line 01 (ws variant)
One of two morphologically distinct variant cell lines derived from a primary Leiomyosarcoma resected in 2011. Note: Not available under a commercial licence.
4. Sheffield Leiomyosarcoma Cell Line 01 (w1 variant)
One of two morphologically distinct variant cell lines derived from a primary Leiomyosarcoma resected in 2011. Note: Not available under a commercial licence.
5. Sheffield De-differentiated Liposarcoma Cell Line 01
Cell line derived from a primary De-differentiated Liposarcoma resected in 2010.
6. Sheffield De-differentiated Liposarcoma Cell Line 02
Cell line derived from a primary De-differentiated Liposarcoma resected after neoadjuvant radiotherapy in 2011.
7. Sheffield Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma Cell Line 01
Cell line derived from a primary Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma resected in 2010.
8. Sheffield Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma Cell Line 02
Cell line derived from a primary Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma resected in 2011
9. Sheffield Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma Cell Line 03
Cell line derived from a primary Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma resected in 2011.
10. Sheffield Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma Cell Line 04
Cell line derived from a primary Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma resected in 2012.

The research to produce these cell lines has been funded and supported by Sarcoma UK and Weston Park Cancer Charity.
We charge a £350 handling & packaging fee per cell line for distributing these cells to non-commercial research organisations.
Recipients are asked to make shipping arrangements at their own cost. Recipients are responsible for paying any import duties that are incurred.
Payment is required before cell lines will be shipped.
